Flat face Dam mask, Ivory Coast. The face with pierced circular eyes and the mouth with prominent lips pierced, knotted fiber beard, headdress of fabrics and fibers. Dark and shiny patina. Provenance: Collection of Edward Frey, the author of The Kris: Mystic Weapon of the Malay World (Images of Asia).
