By V. V. and D. V. Voronov. This is a monumental 436 page album in which Roy Williams and Konstantin Schumacher took part. Collections from the world leading collectors both Russia and international based were provided to compose the book. This album presents more than 1200 photographs of bayonets, hallmarks, "toads", knots as well as a number of high-quality and previously unpublished photographs of soldiers and officers of the German Army depicted with the bayonets described in the book. The material presented is divided by the makers with a brief historical reference. The book provides drawings of bayonet both modern and late XIX – early XX centuries, detailed explanation of the markings and results of the laboratory studies (in the appendix). It’s just a colossal world-class work.
