Cavalry Enlisted Man Shashka of the Asian Type (Nizhegorodka). Hardwood grip with brass fittings, slightly curved blade marked by Zlatoust Factory and dated "1917" with inspection markings, wooden scabbard painted brown with brass fittings (stamped with inspection marks) with sockets for a Mosin- Nagant bayonet (missing).
