The album depicts more than 200 photographs in addition to which 140 photographs of the historical personalities of the Cossacks of the Don, Kuban, Tersky and Cossack Armies with a brief biographical note. The book uses rare and previously unpublished photographs from foreign foundations, including the archive of Major Williamson (18 photos were first purchased and published here), personal archive of General Klimovich who was Moscow mayor and chief of Counterintelligence of the Russian Army of Baron Wrangel. Also in this book provides the photographs from the collection of Sergei Talantov (Moscow). In addition a huge help for photographic materials for the album was rendered by the memorial museum of "Don Cossacks in the struggle against the Bolsheviks" in Podolsk and St. Elanskoy. The album’s theme is the participation of the Cossacks from Don, Kuban and Terek troops in the Civil War in the South of Russia. The book is divided in two parts. First the end of 1917 — beginning of 1919. The second part covers 1919 — March 1920. Geographically the photographs are related to the regions of the Don and Kuban Cossack troops as well as Ukraine. 2018, 200 pages, 500 copies.
