Early 1946 manufacture, Var. 2, Sub Var. 1, silver plated brass and enamels, Soviet / Russian-made by "Monetny Dvor" Soviet Mint mark in Cyrillic on the screw back. Awarded for participation in battle against the Japanese Kwantung Army in Manchuria in 1939. A total of just 5504 were produced. Ref.
