The central part of the plate is painted with a romantic mountainous landscape. In the foreground is a group of people whose figures seem tiny in comparison with the surrounding rocks. The border of the plate with gilding is decorated with an exquisitely executed pattern with vines. On the gilding, slight abrasions and traces of hairlines are noticeable. Ca. early 19th cen.

Condition: Very good, gilding slightly faded
