A cup with an exquisite empire-style handle and legs in the shape of lion paws. It is decorated with gilding and an image of the Kronprinz palace in Berlin. The caption below the image: "Das Königl Palaice in Berlin". At the bottom, the underglaze KPM mark and the blue scepter. The saucer features a gold rim, a pattern of oak leaves and the inscription: "Herrn Artillerie Capitain Andreas Ludwig Ferdinand Engelhardt Ein Zeichen dankbarer Verehrung".
Dimensions: H: 5 1/2 in., (14 cm.) D: 6 1/2 in., (16.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks
