Watercolor by Sergey Grusenberg. Signed lower right: "S. GRUSENBERG". Probably made as illustrations for the "A Thousand and One Nights". Sergey Nikolaevich (Noevich) Gruzenberg (1888 – 1934) – Russian and Soviet architect and book graphic artist. Sergey Gruzenberg was a member of the "Mir Iskusstva" association. Since 1909, he participated in many exhibitions: "Union of Russian Artists", "World of Art" and others, where he exhibited graphics and architectural fantasies. He was engaged in the illustration of books, painted for magazines.
