AUCTION 25 ORDERS AND DECORATIONS: A LONG ISLAND COLLECTION
A second battalion Naval Militia of New York gold pin with an original blue ribbon. The pin is an enameled shield overlaid on two crossed cannons. The basis of the composition is a golden steering wheel covered with enamel with the inscription: "SECOND BATTALION / N.M. N.Y.". A small gold pendant in the form of a propeller is attached to the steering wheel from below. Marked on the reverse with the manufacturer’s stamp and "SOLID GOLD" stamp. Weight: 0.3 oz., 8 g.
