An 1883 Sons of the Revolution medal in gold. The obverse of the medal is an oval medallion with a portrait of George Washington facing to the right and the inscription "SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION 1883". The medallion is surrounded by a dark blue enamel border with 13 relief gold stars. The medallion is surmounted with a relief eagle. The reverse of the medal depicts a full-length Continental soldier. With an original ribbon with stripes in blue and gold colors. The medal comes with the Award Certificate issued to James Luis Cross. Weight: 0.7 o., n 18 g.
