AUCTION 37 ANTIQUE ARMS AND ARMOR
A Nazi WW2 German Cross, or Deutsches Kreuz, in gold, with four rivet construction and broad pin backing. The cross features a double, overlaid, eight-point, sunburst pattern. With a raised black enameled swastika to the center encompassed by a gilt-washed circular laurel leaf wreath with the impressed introduction date 1941. Marked to the pin. Manufactured by C. F. Zimmermann of Pforzheim. Engraved on verso with the dedication to Oberleutnant Joachim Renz of the Luftwaffe Hermann Goering Division, 3rd Panzer Regiment, October 17, 1943.
