The Black Corps, an award plaque 1937 Allach Porcelain Manufacture. Dark brown Böttger stoneware with a National Eagle in relief above "1937 — Das Schwarze Korps (with underlying SS runes) — Für Erfolgreiche Mitarbeit" (1937 — The Black Corps — For Successful Collaboration). Signed "CD" for Carl Diebitsch and "TK for Prof. Theodor Kärner in the upper corners. Reverse recessed manufacturer’s mark in the shape of SS runes within an octagon and suspension device.The Schwarze Korps was the SS Newspaper responsible for propaganda. Such honor prizes were given to SS Men for soliciting 5 half year subscriptions for the Newspaper.
