AUCTION 29: MILITARY ORDERS, DECORATIONS, ARMS AND ARMOR
The lot includes: 1. WWI Austrian stormtrooper bronze badge. The badge is an enameled half oak half laurel wreath with two crowns on the sides and a skull at the bottom in the center. Inside the wreath is a flying eagle with hand grenades in its paws. Above is the inscription STURM BAON on either side of the helmet with the number 48 below it.2. Gilt Imperial Austrian Aero Club 1912 Medal of the Aero Club Meet at Vienna, June 1912. Obverse: relief of an Etrich Monoplane flying over a Vienna cityscape depicted; Reverse: winged nude male figure flying over a landscape depicted; raised letter text "K. K. OSTERR AERO CLUB WEIN, JUNI 1912".
