А hand-painted porcelain figure of James Quinn as Shakespeare’s character Sir John Falstaff. With а brass-painted sword, on rococo-style base and increased Dressel Kister mark on the verso. This figurine was a popular subject and adapted over time by Dressel Kister (with a similar example seen in Victoria and Albert Museum) and was of the foremost British actor James Quin. He appears as Falstaff, a character from Henry IV and The Merry Wives of Windsor by Shakespeare.
