“Partially gilded silver tea pot decorated with turcuise, cornellian and colord glass stones. The ornament, perhaps commissioned by a wealthy patron involved in the tea trade, was modeled on both Islamic and European prototypes.
Similar tea is kept at the Metropolitan Museum, New York, ref. # 2005.443.11a, b. Condition Very good. Dimensions H: 7 1/8 in., (18 cm.)
