A rare German hand-hammered silver water vessel in the style of Russian kovsh by Ed. Wollenweber, Munich, ca. 19th century. The kovsh features a purple quartz stone mounted on the handle. The bottom of the kovsh is stamped ED. WOLLENWEBER, 800 silver. Weight: 3.5 oz., (100 g. ) A similar example is displayed at the National History Museum of Romania in Bucharest.
