The blade is of a flattened-diamond shape, double-edged, made by Horster E. & F. Co., Solingen, Germany. The blade is decorated with etching on both sides. The crossguard and pommel are cast of brass. The grip is carved of a bull horn. The scabbard is wooden covered in black leather. The fittings are made of brass with two loose suspension rings.
