Lot 11:
A Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LFZ) figurine depicting a Dancing Girl, 1950’s/60’s. by S.B. Velihova (1904–1994). Born in 1904 in Yelets, Orel Province. In 1926 she graduated from the Leningrad Art and Industrial College, in 1930 – the sculpture faculty of VKhUTEIN in Leningrad. Since 1949, she worked at the Leningrad Porcelain Factory. She performed a number of sculptural works, many of which were introduced into mass production. Figurine is marked in blue ink LFZ on the bottom.
