The Inuit figurine of a woman with a child behind her back is carved of stone but it has very soft plastique lines and shapes. Small details are very well-formed: locks of hair, elements of an ornament. The mother and child seem to be a united body that emphasizes the very essence of motherhood. Ca. early 20th cen.
Dimensions: 13 x 7 ½ x 7 in. (33.02 x 19.05 x 17.78 cm.)
Condition: Very good with characteristic signs of use
