A pair of early Soviet porcelain figurines modeled by Boris Kustodiev depicting a male standing harmonist and female dancer in winter cloths. The male figurine is dated on the bottom 1924, the female figurine is 1937 accordingly. Both figures are made by LFZ (Leningrad Porcelain Factory). Ref. Soviet Porcelain 1920 – 1930 in private collections in St. Petersburg by E. Sametskaya, p. 170.
Dimensions: Male H: 8 1/2 in., (21 cm.) Female H: 8 1/2 in., (22 cm.)
