A French gilt bronze and white marble desk inkwell with two wells. Decorated with a lovely statuette of a reading boy who is sitting on a pedestal. The base is decorated with a relief plate depicting a boy engaged in arts, surrounded by the corresponding attributes: an easel and a palette. The marble stand is mounted on four legs, decorated with a gilded insert with geometric and floral lace patterns along the edge.
