A round vase in a Chinoiserie style with a gilt pattern depicting cranes in reeds, bamboo stems, and stylized Chinese buildings. Marked on the bottom: "PRINZ ALFONS VON BAYERN". Footnote: Prince Alfons of Bavaria (German: Alfons Maria Franz von Assisi Klemens Max Emanuel Prinz von Bayern; 24 January 1862 – 8 January 1933) was a member of the Bavarian Royal House of Wittelsbach and a General of Cavalry. Ca. 19th century.
