Lot 50:
A carved dagger-shaped bone, with enameled "SS" runic lightning bolts on one side and "Leibstandarte SS" insignia on the reverse (appears to be silver). 1st SS Panzer Division ("Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler") was an elite formation of SS troops originally created to be Adolf Hitler’s personal guard. During its existence it grew steadily from a bodyguard regiment into a large division.
