The pair of Chinese Rose Mandarin plates depict a series of dignitaries and ladies in a courtyard scene using beautiful and bright colors. The border of the plates is also beautifully decorated with roses and butterflies on a greenery background. Qing Dynasty, circa 1820-1830.
