AUCTION 25 ORDERS AND DECORATIONS: A LONG ISLAND COLLECTION
A gilt-silver and enamel Russian Air Fleet jeton. Hallmarks: female head looking right, 84 Russian silver standard, two Cyrillic tetters: VA. Footnote: At the very beginning of 1917, before the fall of the monarchy, the last commemorative jetons such as this specimen "The Air Fleet is the Power of Russia" were presented. This jeton was issued before WWI and was awarded to everyone who made small donations to the Air Force of the Russian Empire. This particular jeton was awarded for a donation of 3 rubles.
