On the obverse, there is an image of the Russian Emperor Alexander III (1845 – 1894) in profile, an inscription in Russian BY THE MERCY OF GOD ALEXANDER III THE EMPEROR AND AUTOCRAT OF ALL RUSSIA. On the reverse, there is the inscription in Russian "FOR THE LIFE SAVING." Weight: 0.4 oz., 12 g.
