A golden Maltese cross covered with red enamel and gold Russian double-headed imperial eagles between its arms. A central medallion depicting the handwritten monogram "SS". Around the central medallion is an enamel laurel wreath. Marked “56” (for 14 Kt. Gold). On the reverse of the lower beam there is manufacturer’s stamp"EDUARD" (Cyrillic). 1900s.
