A Walker/Shibanov, engraving, James Walker ("burner of His Imperial Majesty"), after the original by Mikhail Shibanov ("painted by Schebanoff"). Portrait of empress Catherine II in traveling costume. Saint Petersburg, November 1, 1787 mezzotint engraving on the sheet. Lettered below the image in French: ‘Reconnoit vers le Nord l’aimant qui nous attire / … Elle auvoit eu toujours un Throne dans nos coeurs’. Lettered with a dedication at bottom: "L’original se trouve dans la collection de Monsr. le General Mamonoff, a qui cette planche est dediée avec le plus profond respect / par son tres humble serviteur James Walker".
