A hand-painted Russian silver-mounted triptych icon (skladen) featuring the image of Jesus Christ, Archangel Mikhail on the left, and St. George on the right pane. The inscription in Cyrillic on the back reads as follows: То headquarters captain Yermolinsky а blessing from the lower ranks of the regimental bread and soldiers’ shop L.G. Pr. Pol. (Life-Guard Preobrazhenskiy Regiment). Bless and Save. Silver hallmarks: 84 with female head looking left, Cyrillic letters "AR" and letter "N". Ref. P-L page 259, fig. # 3882. St. Petersburg essayer’s marks A. Rikhter 1898 – 1903. Weight: 1.6 oz., 46 g.
