The lid is decorated with the medal by Timofey Ivanov (Russian, 1729-1803) portraying Empress Catherine the Great and encircled by the inscription in Russian: B.M YEKATERINA II IMPERAT. I SAMODERZH. Condition: Good overall with a small dent on the lid, the niello is well preserved
