The vase is decorated with relief images of oak wreaths with ribbons, acanthus leaves, and seashells. The vase is surrounded by a border with engraving in Russian: "A TRIBUTE TO A WONDERFUL TALENT/BORIS BYKOV TO K. P. MAKLETSOVA" in the upper part. With the Russian silver hallmarks on the base. Ksenia Petrovna Makletsova (5 [17] November 1890, Moscow, Russian Empire – 18 May 1974, Long Island, USA) – A ballet dancer. In 1908 – 1915. performed at the Bolshoi Theater, in 1915 – 1919. – at the Mariinsky Theater. Since 1919 she has toured abroad. She danced in the troupe of Sergei Diaghilev’s Russian Ballet. Has toured the south of Russia, Siberia, Sumatra, Philippines, Singapore, Japan. In 1926 she emigrated to the United States. Weight: 19.9 o., 564 g.
