The miniature depicts a sophisticated, richly dressed youth holding a sheet of parchment in his hands. Around the young man, there is a decorative frame with calligraphic inscriptions and colored ornaments. The entire surface is embellished with gold embossed flowers and palmettes. The reverse side is also embossed with gold embossing and contains two verses in nasta’liq script, framed with colored patterns and inscriptions in separate cartouches.
