Persian miniature depicting a battle scene against the backdrop of a rocky landscape. Made in gouache on paper. The soldiers’ spears at the top of the miniature extend out onto the fields, expanding the miniature’s space. The images are very detailed and well balanced in color. The paper is additionally reinforced.
