War Merit Cross 1st Class (Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1. Klasse) with swords. The award in the form of a Maltese cross is made of a non-ferrous alloy with subsequent silver plating. The beams of the cross on both sides have a flat projecting edging and a shagreen inner surface. In the center of the cross is a wreath of oak leaves, inside of which there is a convex swastika.Blades of crossed stylized swords pass through the center of the award. Fastening – a vertical pin.
