Meissen porcelain figural group "The Lover Discovered", the second half of the 19th century, after the model originally executed in 1771 by J.J Kaendler, the lady reclining on her bed holding a pastry and a cup, with her husband peering over the end of the bed and the Cupid hiding behind her. A table with a chocolate pot, sugar, and pastry to one side as her dog is peering beneath the bed. Her lover, discovered only by the dog at the feet of the husband, as a separate figurine.

Both are marked underglaze, incised model number D.64 for both groups.
