Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov (Russian, 1848 – 1926) oil on board study of a forest landscape. Signed in Cyrillic at the lower left: "V. Vasnetsov." Viktor Vasnetsov was a Russian artist who specialized in mythological and historical subjects. He is considered the co-founder of Russian folklorist and romantic nationalistic painting, and a key figure in the Russian revivalist movement.
Dimensions: 12 x 6 5/8 in., (30.5 x 16.8 cm.)
Condition: No apparent sings of restoration, the bottom left corner is damaged, minor cracking center right
