AUCTION 31: ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND DECORATIONS
The design is based on a German original combination dagger ca. 1770. Gilt cast-brass grip spirally grooved decorated with a raised ornamental band. The round barrel is placed inside the dagger handle and is closed by a long iron plug which also serves as the ramrod. The flintlock is mounted on both sides of the grip. A single-edged pointy blade, double-edged towards the tip, gilt ricasso with engraved decoration.
