AUCTION 31: ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND DECORATIONS
German Rifle Association Regulation Hanger Knife. Designed and approved in 1938 specifically for the German Rifle Association, and authorized for wear in 1939. The dagger was completely out of production by 1943. Fluted white celluloid grip, silver-plated clamshell-type guard with the Deutscher Schutzen-Verband eagle logo in black and white enamel, recurve cross guard with acorns at the tips, and scalloped pommel. Marked by the manufacturer on the ricasso.

Condition: Very good, crack on the hilt.
