AUCTION 31: ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR AND DECORATIONS
A gold medal of the Russian Empire "For Zeal". On the obverse, the medal depicts an image of Emperor Nicholas II and inscription in Russian around the rim: "WITH THE MERCY OF GOD NICHOLAS II THE EMPEROR AND AUTOCRAT OF ALL RUSSIA". On the reverse, there is a one-line inscription in Russian FOR ZEALITY framed by laurel and oak leaves.
