Two French late 18th-century porcelain plates decorated with gilded borders and grisaille scenes hand-painted after Giovanni Battista Cipriani (1727 – 1787), allegories of "Comedy" and "Tragedy." Both plates are marked underneath with red letters "D.F."

Condition: Very good considering the age, some minor gilding loss
