AUCTION 32: APRIL 2022 DECORATIVE AND FINE ART SALE
Russian Imperial porcelain plates from the Life Guard Sapper Battalion table service by Kornilov Brothers Porcelain Factory. With a white background, the plates feature the symbol of the Russian Sapper Battalion on the top – a crowned double-headed dark green eagle sitting on a pedestal. The plate is also adorned with a gilt rim. The plate is marked underside by the Kornilov Brothers Porcelain Factory, founded in St Petersburg in 1835.
Dimensions: D: 9 5/8 ib., (24.5 cm.)
Condition: Very good overll, no chips or cracks, the gilded rim slightly fafeded.
