AUCTION 32: APRIL 2022 DECORATIVE AND FINE ART SALE
The lot includes a souvenir 1939 New York World’s Fair cigarette box decorated on the lid with the photographic picture of the Soviet Pavilion. It is labeled "SOVIET PAVILION New York World’s Fair 1939" on the lower part of the image. There is an embossed emblem on the bottom "NIC" in a circle with a number 3 underneath. And a commemorative wall-hanging bakelite plate of the All-Union Agricultural Exhibition with an incised mark on the back: "Mosplastmass, " circa 1939.
