Portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte, 19th century, oil on canvas, after the engraving of "N. Bonaparte Premier Consul" by Baron Louis Bacler D’albe (1761 – 1824). Bacler d’Albe was a French artist, a map-maker, and the closest strategic advisor of Napoleon from 1796 until 1814. The painting is unsigned, housed in an old gilt wooden frame.
