Russian Imperial late 19th or early 20th-century Polytechnic Institute Graduation silver badge. Designed in the form of a double-headed eagle under the imperial crown, framed by a laurel and oak wreath. At the base, there is an overlaid cross covered with green guilloché enamel. Screwback construction. Hallmarks: 84 silver standard, female head in a kokoshnik, and other Russian hallmarks. Weight: 0.26 oz., 7.45 gr. Footnote: The badge was instituted on February 14, 1903.
