Magnificent English crossbow with slender steel bow retaining old strings with turned bone spacers sprung folding fore-sight mounted above the turned finial, figured flat-sided gun-stock inlaid with a shaped decorative panel engraved with further rocailles and foliage in front of the gaffle, walnut stock, and iron mounts including cocking-lever with chequered button and engraved trigger-guard.
