AUCTION # 33 ANTIQUE ARMS, ARMOR & DECORATIONS
An antique Continental Europe wrought and cast iron strongbox with a pyramid-alike lid. The strongbox is rested on four feet. With two triangular forged metal handles mounted to the sides, and one handle to the lid. Decorated with rivets and chiseled elements throughout the body. With a lock and a key. The lid is chased inside with a tree branch pattern. Dated from the 18th century or earlier.
Dimensions: L: 12 3/16 in., (31 cm.)
Condition: Very good. Fabric inside is loose, a little torn.
