17th-century oil on board painting depicting Marie de Medici riding in a wagon drawn by two lions with Cupids riding them, after the painting by Peter Paul Rubens "The Meeting of Marie de Medicis and Henri IV at Lyon 1622-25." Bearing hand-inscribed paper labels to the backside.
Dimensions: 16 1/2 x 13 1/2 in., (42 x 34 cm.)
Condition: Very good considering the age, very minor signs of restoration have been revealed under black light toward the top right corner.
