A rare porcelain plate by Kuznetsov Mfg. depicting a Jewish dancer for the Cleopatra ballet after the drawing by Leon Bakst (1866-1924). Marked on the verso by the manufacturer. The ink inscription reads as follows: "based on the sketch by L. Bakst, Jewish dance, ballet "Cleopatra", numbered in brown ink 1886. Ca. 1920.

Dimensions: D: 9 5/8 in., (24.5 cm.)

Condition: Very good, no chips, small hairline on the fron ot the plate.
