Two cast silver figures of Catholic priests holding reliquaries modeled as gothic cathedrals. One of the figurines is set with gemstones to the reliquary and to the base. The bases with openwork motifs are raised on four feet modeled as lying lions. Such reliquaries were popular since the late thirteenth century. Hallmarks: JK mark with a swan.Presumably German, circa 1840.Weight: 7.6 o., (216 g.)
