Fine Russian jewelry brooch made by August Hollming for Faberge circa 1900. The brooch is modeled as a floral branch, made of 14k gold and silver, set with rose-cut diamonds, ruby cabochons and partly covered with green enamel. Hallmarked with the maker’s mark "AH" and a 56 Russian Imperial gold standard.Note: August Frederik Hollming (born in 1854 in Finland, died in 1915), came to St. Petersburg, where he became a goldsmith and jeweler (circa 1800), in 1898 had a workshop and worked for the Faberge firm.
